9ab4adc05f Handle empty text masks. 
This allows themes to prevent text from being sent during password
entry. To enable, edit theme.hjson and set $.customization.defaults
.general.passwordChar to "". e.g.,

    defaults: {
      general: {
        passwordChar: ""
      }
    }
    ...
  }
}
